Every employee should have their own login with the least rights essential to complete their duties. Like other companies, your users will ultimately depart.
So, what do you do with a defunct user’s account?
Delete the user account.
The safest and simplest approach to invalidate a user account is to delete it.
By default, this deletes the user’s posts. Even if you don’t intend to keep it, it’s wise to save it as draughts in case you need it later.
Prior to deleting an account, WordPress allows you to assign posts to a new account. You may either assign those postings to another user or establish a “fake” user to replace the one you’re removing.
